We express our sincere thanks and high appreciation to the Regents, Mayors who have allocated APBD budgets to support TMMD program activities, as well as ministries/non-ministerial government agencies and TNI partners, including friends from print, electronic and online media who have synergized in supporting the successful implementation of TMMD in the region.
This was conveyed by the Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) in his message read by the Deputy Army Chief of Staff (Wakasad) Lt. Gen. Agus Subiyanto, S.E, M.Sc., when chairing the 43rd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the TMMD in 2022, which was held centrally in Masad, Jakarta, and followed by the ranks of the Indonesian Army throughout Indonesia.
The 43rd TMMD Rapurna event with the theme, “Cross-Sectoral Synergy Creating TNI Unity – The People Are Getting Stronger”, which was carried out virtually which was attended by Makodam IX/Udayana led by Kasdam IX/Udayana Brigadier General Sachono, S.H., M.Sc., in Airlangga Room Makodam IX/Udayana, Jalan Udayana No. 1, Denpasar City, Bali, on Thursday (24/11/2022).
Furthermore, Kasad said that this activity was held in order to evaluate and report the results of the implementation of the TMMD TA. 2022 is a manifestation of integrated and cross-sectoral Bhakti Operations to increase the acceleration of development in rural areas, especially areas that are left behind, isolated, border and general urban areas and other areas affected by disasters.
“TMMD activities are essentially a manifestation of the implementation of a culture of mutual cooperation with a spirit of togetherness, brotherhood and unity to jointly develop the region which is carried out through a planning process by prioritizing the aspirations and interests of the people in the region,” Kasad said.
Then, the implementation of TMMD TA. 2022 has received a positive response from the public. This can be seen from the active role and involvement in working on physical goals and non-physical activities. Where the community goes down to the location working together with the TNI in completing physical work and also the Regional Head can socialize and provide a good understanding to the community.
“Hopefully our intentions can be realized well, finally let us together ask God Almighty to always provide His guidance and protection for us in continuing our duties of service to the community, the Nation and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia that we love,” said Kasad.
In this activity Kasdam was accompanied by Kasdam 163/WSA, Aster Kasdam IX/Udy, Wakapendam IX/Udy, Dandim 1619/Tabanan, Dandim 1617/Jembrana, Kasdim 1611/Badung, Head of BPMD Dukcapil, Chairman of DPRD Kab. Gianyar and Kab. Jembrana, Head of Bapeda Kab. Badung, Kab. Gianyar and Kab.
