Wamenhan Donny Ermawan Taufanto melakukan pertemuan dengan Pejabat Utama (PJU) Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) yang dipimpin oleh Kepala BIG, Muh Aris Marfai, di kantor BIG, Cibinong, Bogor, Selasa (25/2).
Pertemuan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat sinergi antara Kementerian Pertahanan (Kemhan) dan BIG, yang membahas penguatan informasi untuk pertahanan negara.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Wamenhan menekankan pentingnya informasi geospasial yang akurat dan terkini dalam mendukung berbagai aspek pertahanan. “Kami berharap, kerja sama antara Kemhan dan BIG dapat terus ditingkatkan,” ujar Wamenhan.
Kepala BIG menyambut baik kunjungan dan arahan dari Wamenhan serta menegaskan komitmen BIG untuk terus mendukung Kemhan dalam upaya pertahanan, dengan harapan sinergi yang terjalin semakin kuat dalam menjaga kedaulatan dan keutuhan wilayah NKRI.

Vice Minister of Defence Donny Ermawan Taufanto held a meeting with Senior Officials of the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), led by the Head of BIG, Muh Aris Marfai, at the BIG office in Cibinong, Bogor, on Tuesday (Feb 25).
This meeting aimed to strengthen synergy between the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and BIG while discussing the enhancement of geospatial information to support national defence.
During the meeting, the Vice Minister of Defence emphasized the importance of accurate and up-to-date geospatial information in supporting various aspects of defence. “We hope that the cooperation between MoD and BIG will continue to develop,” he stated.
The Head of BIG welcomed the visit and directives from the Vice Minister of Defence, reaffirming BIG’s commitment to supporting the MoD in its efforts to safeguard the nation. This collaboration is expected to further strengthen synergy in maintaining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
